My New Hobby: Grass Sitting

Yes, it's true. I like to sit on the grass.  Well, let me clarify that. I like the sit on grass that has a blanket over top of it.  I think I have really sensitive skin and it gets really itchy (*edit - I now realize you never needed to know that little fact about me).  I also never really realized how much I love to sit outside in the shade. I really don't like really hot weather so the shade is just perfect on humid days : )
I recently bought a book called Harvesting the Heart by Jodi Picoult and it's had me on an emotional roller coaster! Sometimes I just want to talk to the characters in the book and help them straighten out their lives (I mean these characters are in some DESPERATE need of counseling) but then I realize only crazy people do things like shout at their books. Is anyone with me?
This weekend is going to be a good one, although I'm going to have to do some homework while I'm home for Mother's Day because finals week is next week. I can't wait until the day when the first thing I think of to blog about won't be the amount of homework I should be doing.

What are your plans for the weekend?

this weekend i will hopefully be FULLY recovered from this cold, taking my mom to a movie for mother's day, seeing iron man 2 (of course), and cleaning my tornado of a room (i don't know how it gets so messy so quickly!).

  2. I love sitting outside in the grass too. Although I do much more pool and river sitting with a book and earbuds in. Just don't spend so much time out there like I did today. Got a hell of a burn.

  3. I love sitting in the grass, too! My finals are looming, so my weekend will be filled with work. I'm going bowling with the other physics majors tomorrow, and I also want to go thrifting!
