Today we left New Mexico and set out towards the Grand Canyon in Arizona. We were having some issues with the engine overheating and I just
knew that it had to do with Dad's fortune cookie the other night: "Better to travel hopefully than to arrive". :D
So to give the engine a little break we pulled over at the nearest exit and saw signs for the
Petrified Forest. Yes, the
Petrified Forest, but it wasn't as scary as you'd think! :D The name actually had something to do with the logs that were in the area (I don't really feel like getting into it so if you want to know more just
visit their website.
Even after the detours and set backs we
finally arrived to the campground. Tomorrow morning we set off for the Grand Canyon!
