Over the weekend I caught up on some homework, watched movies, got my
first gel manicure, and did a little online Christmas shopping (this year I'm aiming to be completely done by the first week of December). I watched a film called
Sunshine Cleaning and while it was heartbreakingly sad, it depicted a kind of reality that many families face. The characters faced tragedies yet they still were a family and stuck it out together. Even though most of the time I choose to walk my own path, I feel so blessed to come from where I come from and to have the family I have. Moments like these keep things into perspective.
