Just Finished: Twelve Years A Slave by Solomon Northup. I wanted to read this book because I knew the movie would be really intense. I wasn't sure if I could handle all the visuals but I really wanted to know the narrative so I picked up the book instead. It was a tough read, giving me chills through his detailed description of the brutality that took place, but it's a story everyone should know.
Up Next: A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. After reading The Paris Wife I wanted to know more of Ernest Hemingway's work. I'm only a couple pages in but so far so good.
