This past weekend was a good one. Me and a couple of friends piled into a car on Friday afternoon and drove three hours to a beautiful farm in northern Pennsylvania where our friend Ellen lives. Here are some pictures from the weekend!
Don't worry - Kate isn't texting while driving but she's only reading directions to Ellen's house which is where we went this weekend! : )
Once the three hour commute to Ellen's house was completed we arrived to a feast fit for Kings! Hot dogs and chilli over the fire : )
After having a cook out and sleeping under the stars we woke up early the next morning to milk the cows. But alas, we didn't make it in time (I guess all that star glazing and hot dog roasting wiped us out!) but I still got a few quick pictures of old Bessie : ) Later on that day we took out this gator-like-thing and got it stuck in the mud within the first 15 minutes. BUT we redeemed ourselves by picking it up out of the ditch and having a blast.
Riding in this cute old convertible Volkswagen was a treat! It was a great way to take in the beauty of northern Pennsylvania.
We even tried to re-vive an old jeep so we could go around in that old thing, but after a while it just wouldn't give.
After all was said and done we finished things off with a warm round of butterscotch cookies and a good game of Yahtzee.
How was your weekend?
