Style Files: First Mod Cloth Purchase

If you follow my tweets then you know that yesterday I got my very first Mod Cloth purchase in the mail. I was pretty excited : ) You might recognize it from my Top 10 Fall Wish List items I blogged about back in September.

The only complaint I have about this skirt is that it wrinkles.  But other than that it's a gem! I really like how long it is and how high it sits on my waist.  It looks pretty similar to my other blue bow tie skirt but I truly adore this one. I had been adding it and deleting it from my shopping cart ever since September so I'm glad to have finally tried it on!
This is one of my favorite winter hats.  I think the little ball is adorable on top and red is one of my favorite colors! Unfortunately it doesn't get much wear since I'm usually going somewhere that I prefer my hair to look good, but today wasn't one of those days.

Chad gave me this eyeglass necklace for Christmas and it's so much fun to play around with : )
This is a Tracy Porter bag and I absolutely adore the pattern overload that it has. Who knew one bag could have so much fun!

  4. It's really cute! I love it paired with that checkered shirt! Mod Cloth does have cheap quality stuff. I wore a strapless dress as a bridesmaid dress over the summer and we had to have lining sewn into it so we didn't put on a show of the worst kind. It also didn't stay up too well. But I've also had other stuff from them that was better quality so I just think it depends on what you get. But you get what you pay for in the end. Happy weekend!

  6. Glad to know I'm not the only one constantly in limbo with ordering! Sometimes, I'll add a ton of stuff to my shopping card and close out at the last minute-- then pretend it's coming in the mail. Of course, it sucks when it never arrives, but..

Back on track-- you look incredible in this outfit. I love that you're not afraid to mix colors. Can't wait to see more posts!

  15. I was totally coveting that skirt from Modcloth!! I made myself not buy it since I have a paper bag skirt that's similar in color and also has a tie. This is a wonderful look. The hat MAKES it! :)

  16. I wasn't even sure what item you were talkin about at first, but I was eyeing the skirt thinkin about how great it was! I get frustrated about the stuff that is easy to wrinkle too :( If you're worried about it, you can fill a little spray bottle from the travel-size section with wrinkle releaser stuff and throw it in your purse just in case you need to release some wrinkles :) Can you tell I am OCD(ish)? Lovely, lovely!
