Early Easter

This outfit is what I wore yesterday to an early Easter celebration with my Mom's side of the family. I got this dress as a late birthday present and I love it!  It has a fuller skirt and reminds me of the 50's when it's all flounced out.

This purse was made by my Great Great Grandfather as a gift to my Great Grandmother (who is still alive). I have another one like it just with different initials on it.  I will never ever get rid of this purse not only because it's a gorgeous purse, but because it's kind of like a family heirloom type of thingy....Does that make sense? Haha.

Anyways, I'm off to Saturday Market with some friends and then back here to make some chocolate and peanut butter Easter eggs!

Dress: Tracy Porter
Cardigan: Gap
Shoes: TJ Maxx
Purse: Great Great Grandfather made it
Belt: Old Navy

  2. I've been seeing purses like that at the antique mall for some time, so it's crazy that you have what that someone in your family actually made!

Oh man, have fun making those eggs! I made some rice krispie/chocolate eggs yesterday...too good!
