Style Files: Wednesday

I can't believe I'm actually posting pictures of an outfit I am wearing on the same day I am wearing it. This never happens!

Today I again went for comfort.  For some reason there is just something about tights, a skirt, and a sweater that really does it for me. I grew up wearing a uniform to school that included a skirt so maybe that's why I'm so comfortable in them.

By the way a lot of people are joining Kendi's 30/30 challenge. I always said I would join it sometime, but yet again I didn't join this time around. I think I'm a little two scared I don't have the remixing skills for just 30 items in a closet (shoes included in that 30). Is anyone joining the remix?  If so I'd love to follow your blog and see how you're doing it!  Just leave a comment below.

  2. Love it :)esp. that gorgeous scarf!
I am most comfortable in skirts and dresses too.

I was biting my lips over the 30 for 30 but didn't join this year. My wardrobe is more of a 50 for 350 so I bought a new skirt instead. Maybe next year ;)

  3. I am not doing the challenge but I only have about 23 items in my closet at the moment! I am channeling all my remixing powers at the moment until I can add more stuff to my collection

  4. I'm doing it, but I really only have about 30 things to choose from anyway. So, it is more like just regular dressing!

  6. love this.
totally relate to missing the good ol' dca uniform. the hardest wardrobe decisions revolved around tights & sweaters.

  7. Ooh, what a pretty scarf!
I can totally relate to the whole skirt equals comfort thing. I'm usually more comfortable in skirts and tights than jeans, probably because, like you, I wore a uniform for so many years.

  8. This is beautiful - I just love that scarf!!! I need to take a lesson from you in how to wear such long ones. I always feel like I end up looking so sloppy and frumpy. Another gorgeous outfit dear:) Oh and most of my bows I get from Etsy or sometimes Modcloth (if it's not one I tie together myself).

  9. I wore a uniform from 7th - 12th grade so I feel you there! I love jeans, but there's something about a skirt!

I'm doing the 30 for 30. I'm by no means a fashion blogger, but I'm doing it primarily to feel thankful for what I have. :) We'll see how it goes!

  10. Cute! I love the colorful scarf and studded flats!

I'm also intimidated by 30 for 30...plus I'm lazy! Maybe I'll try it someday; it is fun to see what other people do with their items.
