We are on the home stretch here, folks. Today marks the first day of the last week of classes. This semester was a tough one and I'm ready for a good long break. I can't wait to get home and start decorating for Christmas!
This skirt is another one that I bought at a thrift store and hemmed. I still have to get the hang of it, but it turned out pretty good for my first time.
Do you recognize this snuggly piece of warmth? It's actually The Wavy Cowl in Cream which I'm REALLY surprised no one has snatched up. It's one of my favorites! It's a mixture of stitches which gives off a pretty cool look when wearing it (it's a little washed out in the photo above, my bad).
These photos are from Wednesday - you know the day that was crazy wind and crazy rain? For some reason I thought I could be amazon woman and brave the elements to do some errands. Well I ended up having to drive 40 mph on the highway because the sheets of rain were flooding the road! Craziness. All in the name of getting more yarn for the shop! Haha.Speaking of the shop, if you want to purchase a cowl in time for Christmas all orders need to be made by December 16th. For a guaranteed delivery date of December 24th. Any orders after Dec 16 are not guaranteed.
Also, it's still time to be inquisitive. Ask me a question!
The skirt hem looks great! Congrats on getting to the home stretch of another semester, and good luck with the last few days!

You are much more brave than me..that wind and rain was wicked and kept me inside. I am horrified by strong winds. Gorgeous photos as always - I love the outfit, all the pieces just go so perfect together:)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit and your shop!
ReplyDelete1. Came from Marissa's blog and now I'm going to stalk you (only in the nicest way possible, and from a good distance like 3000 miles away - probably. I don't know where you live).
ReplyDelete2. Gonna check out your etsy shop because I stinkin LOVE all these scarves and whatnot and still haven't bought myself one. I have ONE scarf. And I live in ALASKA!!!! (For realz).
3. I stinkin LOVE the belt over the skirt! I don't know why in the world, but it really adds so much to a look, it's absolutely darling, and I just never ever would have thought of that myself. So thank you, and I shall try it as well :)
