Here in Jerusalem, modesty is pretty important. I only brought one long dress thinking that would be enough (and it's the only one I own :D) but I'm starting to realize that it's more culturally appropriate in some of the places we visit to wear a long skirt out of respect.
So I've hunted down some inspiration and right now this long pleated gray skirt worn by Zanna Roberts Rassi (the Senior Fashion Editor at Marie Claire US) as photographed by Vanessa Jackman is my favorite.
What do you think of long skirts? It's probably not something I'd wear back in the states, but for here it's totally appropriate and sometimes required.
